The first major exhibition of women artists and Surrealism to be held in Europe, Angels of Anarchy, opens this autumn at Manchester Art Gallery. Featuring over 100 artworks by 33 women artists the exhibition is a celebration of the crucial, but at the time not fully recognized, role that women artists have played within Surrealism.

How refreshing to see this article! It is nice to know “surrealism” is respected still at least in Europe! I have the most difficult time finding a venue for my work..and to see this being an exhibit of women artists! Wish I lived close by to see this exhibit….I was ready to just give up and burn all of my works….then I came across this article…whew….I wish all the artists the best of success!
