Sound Transit light rail’s public art makes a big splash

There is some very beautiful, but controversial new public art in installed along Seattle’s new Link Light Rail.

The public seems divided between those who are delighted with it ,and those who feel the timing is wrong for such a project when times are so hard.  (You can leave your comments after the story.)

One Response to Sound Transit light rail’s public art makes a big splash

  1. Wanda Pepin says:

I really like the Sound of Light, by Richard Elliott. I don’t like all the pieces, but love the idea of being surrounded by art when I am doing something as mundane as traveling on a routine route everyday. It has to spark creativity in those who view it, even if they don’t like it.
